People and teams
Brand — The company the campaign is for. Older screens may call it a Client.
Creator or Talent — The person making the content. A representative may coordinate the deal for them.
Representative — A manager or agent working for a creator. Representation and permission to sign are separate questions.
Team — The workspace your colleagues use in Basa. Ask your administrator which access and actions your role allows.
Signatory — The person authorized to sign for a party. Check the named signer on each contract.
Legal entity name — The company’s registered name used in an agreement. Check it separately from a brand’s display name.
Campaigns and records
Campaign — The container for an initiative and its creator deals. Older screens may call it a Project.
Deal — The work with one creator in one campaign, from outreach to the agreement and record. A creator can have separate deals in different campaigns.
Contact — A person saved in the team’s contact list. A displayed response amount is not necessarily an average or a reusable rate card.
Tag — A label the team uses to organize contacts or deals.
Source — The response, term, document, or other record behind a fact. Check it when a number or agreement needs explaining.
Outreach
Outreach — The invitation to a creator, including the message and the opportunity it links to.
Outreach Setup — The reusable message, work, rights, questions, and pricing format assigned to a deal. Older screens may call it a Role or Outreach Template.
Deliverable — A piece of work, such as a Reel, Story, or video.
Bulk pricing — One total for the requested work.
Itemized pricing — Separate prices for the individual items in the request.
Fixed fee — An amount proposed by the team for the creator to review.
Usage rights — What the agreement says the brand can do with the content, including duration and territory where applicable.
Exclusivity — A restriction on other work described in the agreement. Read its exact scope and duration.
NDA — A non-disclosure agreement. Read its terms and ask the sender about anything unclear before signing.
Sent — A message was dispatched. This alone does not prove the recipient received or opened it.
Negotiation
Proposal or offer — The terms currently being discussed.
Counter — A response proposing a different amount or term.
Accept — Agree to the displayed proposal or line. Review the full scope before confirming.
Decline — Stop moving forward with the deal. The team may have a reopen action; ask the deal owner if you want to revisit it.
Save without notifying — Save a response without sending the accompanying notification. Check the available action before assuming the other side has been told.
Save and notify — Save the response and request a notification to the other party.
Stages and status
Stage — A broad part of the deal, such as outreach, negotiation, or contracting.
Status — The current state shown on the deal. The team and creator may see different labels for the same point in the process.
Outreach Required / Outreach Assigned — The team is preparing the opportunity or has assigned its setup.
Outreach Sent / Rate Received — The opportunity has been sent, or the creator’s pricing has been received.
Proposal Sent / Counter Received — Terms have been sent to the creator, or a counter has returned to the team.
Proposal Accepted — The proposal has reached agreement. The contract still needs to be reviewed and completed.
Contracting — The contract is being prepared or signed. Check the contract and signing provider to see what happens next.
Completed / Partnership Active — A label shown when a deal is marked complete. Check the signed agreement, delivery, and payment separately.
Inactive / On Hold — The team has paused the deal. Ask the owner before resuming work.
Contracts and signing
Contract — The agreement prepared for the parties to review and sign. The document’s wording matters, not just the deal summary.
Contract template — A reusable starting point for contract sections and terms. Review every generated value against the agreed deal.
Draft — A contract still in preparation. Check the available controls before making changes.
Finalize — Move a prepared contract into the signing process. Check the terms, parties, and signing setup first.
Signing order — Whether parties sign together or in a specified sequence, depending on the contract’s setup.
Envelope — The package of documents and signer details held by the e-signature provider.
Signature connection — The connection to a person’s e-signature account used for signing.
Executed PDF — A signed copy of the agreement. Keep the document and its signing evidence together.
Payments
Payment record — A manually entered record associated with a deal. Creating it does not transfer money.
Payment status — A label on the payment record, not independent confirmation from a bank or payment provider. Do not assume a visible label has an available status-changing control.
Payment terms — The agreed timing and conditions for payment. Check the contract’s trigger and dates with the finance team.
Links and account access
Deal link — A link that opens the participant’s deal. Keep it with the people involved; possession of a link is not proof of identity or signing authority.
Step link — A link to a particular response or signing step. Ask the sender for a current link if it no longer opens.
Awaiting verification — An account-access step is still outstanding. Follow the verification or review instructions shown for that account; the label alone does not explain what is missing.
Two-factor authentication — An additional login check beyond your password. Availability and setup depend on your workspace; confirm with your setup owner or Support. Never send codes in a support message.
