How do I record a payment?

Steps

1. 1Open the deal’s Payments area.
2. 2Create a record with the amount, date or schedule, and method.
3. 3Review the information and save.
4. 4Keep the actual payment receipt in your finance system.

Use your finance or payment provider to confirm whether money moved. Do not treat a draft or planned payment record as settlement.
