BASA HELP

What are custom forms, and when do I use one?

A custom form is an extra set of questions a creator answers when they respond to your outreach, beyond rates.

When to use one

Use a custom form when you need more than a rate back: shipping address, content ideas, availability dates, a file upload.

Steps to build one

  1. Go to Custom Forms, then New Form.
  2. Name the form.
  3. Click Add question and choose a type: short answer, long answer, number, email, URL, date, single choice, multiple choice, dropdown, multi-select, or file upload.
  4. Mark a question Required if the creator must answer it.
  5. Drag questions to reorder them.
  6. Click Save.

Attaching it to a deal

Forms attach to an Outreach Setup (some screens call it a Role), not directly to a campaign. Open the setup's settings and choose the form from the dropdown.

Editing a form already in use

Editing saves a new version. Responses already submitted keep the version they answered.
