For brands, agencies and teams

Who is the signatory?

Short answer

The signatory is the person designated to sign for a party to the contract.

Before signing

  1. Check the person’s name and email.
  2. Confirm they are authorized to sign.
  3. Check the signing order and connected signature account.
  4. Review the agreement before opening the signing step.

A team role and a contract’s designated signer are related but different checks. Ask the deal owner if they do not match.

What is a signature provider?

The signature provider is the service used for the signing step. Check the account with the deal owner before sending.
