Stop before signing if the wrong person is named.

What to check

  1. Review the parties, signer names, and email addresses.
  2. Confirm who is authorized to sign.
  3. Ask the deal owner to correct the draft through the available controls.
  4. Recheck the complete agreement before sending it.

For a contract already sent or signed, ask the deal owner and legal reviewer for the correct next step. Do not delete or recreate it automatically.
